What we collect

When you buy, Stripe takes your name, shipping address, email and payment details in its secure form on our checkout page. Stripe sends us the order, the items, the amounts and the country it ships to. We read the shipping address from Stripe when we print the label. We never see your card number. Your email and address reach us only for the order confirmation and the shipping notice, read from Stripe at the moment each goes out.

When you join the drop list, we keep your email address, the date and the consent you gave. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.

When you email us, we keep the thread so we can answer you and keep track of your order.

Where it lives

Our order records sit in a database hosted in the United States. They hold the order lines, the amounts, the country and Stripe's reference for the payment, and no name or street address. Stripe keeps the payment and the address under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. To price shipping and print the label, the shipping address also goes to Shippo, our postage service, under its policy at goshippo.com/privacy. Our emails go out through Resend, a mail service, under its policy at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy. The site is served by Vercel, whose servers log the address of each request for a short time to keep the site running. The site's fonts are served from our own address, so no font service sees your visit.

Analytics

We do not run an analytics service today. If we add one, it will work without cookies and will not identify you, and we will name it here before it goes in.

Marketing

We email the drop list only with the consent you gave, and every email has an unsubscribe link. If we run ads for the shop on Meta or Google, their measurement tags may set cookies on this site to count what the ads bring in. We list each tag here before it goes live, with the link to opt out of that platform's ad personalization. We do not buy or rent lists.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your details. We do not send email you did not ask for. Nothing from any marketplace account reaches this site, its list or any ad platform.

Cookies and storage

The cart lives in your browser's storage and nowhere else. This site sets no cookies of its own today. Any analytics or ad tag we add is listed above. Stripe sets its own cookies on the checkout page and may offer to save your details with Link under Stripe's terms. That is your choice.

How long we keep it

Order records stay as long as tax law asks us to keep sales records. The drop list keeps your address until you unsubscribe.

Children

This site is not for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their details. If a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

Email info@startedinqueens.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to leave the list. We answer within a few days.
